Welcome to Preston Physics, LLC. By purchasing or participating in any services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Educational Services Only
All services are provided for educational support purposes only. Instruction is designed to help students better understand physics concepts and prepare for exams.
2. No Guarantee of Results
Student outcomes depend on many factors, including effort, prior knowledge, and study habits.
We do not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or AP® exam results.
3. Independent Educator
Dr. Preston/ Preston Physics, LLC is an independent educational service provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board. AP® is a registered trademark of the College Board.
4. Payments & Refunds
All payments must be made in advance unless otherwise stated.
Refunds available up to 5 days before the selected program starts. All order/course cancellations must be completed at least 5 days before the selected program starts. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Dr. Preston either through email (dr.preston@prestonphysics.com) or through the “Contact Me” form (www.prestonphysics.com/contact).
Missed live Zoom sessions are not refundable or rescheduleable. However, recordings and learning materials will be available to the students, and students may contact Dr. Preston for help via email.
5. Scheduling & Attendance
Students are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions.
6. Limitation of Liability
Preston Physics, LLC is not liable for:
Academic outcomes
Exam or course performance
Technical issues outside our control
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

We respect your privacy and only collect information necessary to provide our services.
Information We Collect:
Name (student and parent)
Email address
Payment information (processed securely through third-party providers)
How We Use Information:
To communicate about services
To process payments
To provide educational support
Third-Party Services:
We may use trusted platforms (e.g., Squarespace, payment processors) to manage bookings and payments.
Data Protection:
We do not sell or share your personal information.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations:
All order/course cancellations must be completed at least 5 days before the selected program starts. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Dr. Preston either through email (dr.preston@prestonphysics.com) or through the “Contact Me” form (www.prestonphysics.com/contact).
Refunds:
Refunds available up to 5 days before the selected program starts.

Missed live Zoom sessions are not refundable or rescheduleable. However, recordings and learning materials will be available to the students, and students may contact Dr. Preston for help via email.
Parental Consent and Participation of Minors
If the student is under eighteen (18) years of age, enrollment and participation in services must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian. By registering a minor for services, the parent or legal guardian represents and warrants that they have the legal authority to consent on behalf of the student and agree to the terms set forth herein.
Consent to Participate:
The parent or legal guardian consents to the student’s participation in online instructional sessions conducted via video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom). The parent or guardian acknowledges that such participation involves real-time audio and/or visual communication over the internet.
Recording of Sessions:
Instructional sessions may be recorded for educational, administrative, and quality assurance purposes. By enrolling a minor, the parent or legal guardian provides consent to such recording.
To safeguard student privacy:
Student video image and participation is not required.
Recordings are primarily limited to instructional materials, including screen sharing, digital whiteboards, and instructor audio/video. Student voices asking and responding to questions will also be recorded.
Student images are not intentionally recorded; however, incidental capture of a student’s name or voice may occur if the student participates verbally or via platform features.
Use and Distribution of Recordings:
Recordings are used solely for internal educational purposes and may be made available to enrolled students for review. Recordings will not be sold, publicly distributed, or used for marketing purposes without separate, explicit consent.
Assumption of Risk:
The parent or legal guardian acknowledges that online services involve inherent risks, including but not limited to unauthorized access, technical failures, or data transmission errors. While reasonable measures are taken to protect privacy and security, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Parental/Guardian Responsibilities
The parent or legal guardian agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Ensure that the student complies with all participation guidelines and behaves appropriately during the sessions.
Supervise the student’s participation as they deem appropriate.
Student Conduct and Removal
Students are expected to participate in all sessions in a respectful, appropriate, and professional manner.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior
Use of inappropriate, offensive, or abusive language
Sharing or displaying inappropriate or non-educational content
Failure to follow the instructor's directions or session guidelines
Preston Physics, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove any student from a session or dismiss a student from the program if their behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe to the learning environment. Any behavior or presentation that is inappropriate for a professional educational environment will not be allowed.
Removal from a session or program due to misconduct may occur without prior warning.
Refund Policy for Dismissal
No refunds will be issued for sessions or programs from which a student is removed due to violation of this conduct policy.
